Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the Lynn Haven Police Department joined with the Lynn Haven Fire Department to honor and remember those who lost their lives and the first responders who answered the call with courage and sacrifice.

We are especially grateful for our own local first responders —the men and women who stand ready every day to protect, serve, and care for our community. Their commitment is a daily reminder of what service and sacrifice truly mean.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember. We still honor. We will never forget.

PanCare has provided the Lynn Haven Police Department with a medication disposal kiosk, which is now located in our lobby. You can dispose of your prescription medications by simply depositing them in the kiosk. Please be mindful that certain items listed on the kiosk are not accepted, such as needles, aerosol cans and other listed items.

Cpl. Havlicek recently spoke at Troop 321's Scout meeting at Lynn Haven Methodist Church. Cpl. Havlicek dropped some knowledge on the troop about the negative effects and impacts of drug and alcohol abuse. Thank you Cpl. Havlicek for helping to shape our youth!
