Today marks 25 years since the attacks of September 11, 2001. Among the thousands who tragically died were 343 FDNY firefighters, 37 Port Authority police officers, 23 NYPD officers, 8 EMTs from private ambulance services.

Many of us remember where we were when we heard the news. Many others though, including some of our own staff here, weren't born yet or are too young to remember. The world changed after the attacks. It's our responsibility to the younger generations to remind them of the importance of sticking together and working together to solve problems, instead of constantly attacking each other. United we stand, divided we fall.

Do a good deed today. We could all use a little more good in the world.

The Caledonia County Fair is underway, and Lyndon Rescue will have an ambulance and crew on site through Sunday night.

While we’re required to provide EMS coverage for certain events like the rodeo and demolition derby, our involvement doesn’t stop there. Lyndon Rescue donates the additional crew time, ambulance coverage, and resources needed to help provide EMS coverage throughout the rest of the fair in support of the Fair Association and everyone attending.

A big thank you to All Around Power for generously donating the use of a UTV for the week! Having it on the fairgrounds gives our crews a much quicker way to reach someone when we’re needed, especially in areas that aren’t easily accessible by ambulance.

If you’re headed to the fair, stop by and see us at the Emergency Services Building near the main gate!

🚑 We’ve got free goodie bags for the kids while supplies last.

🏠 Need a reflective 911 address sign for your home? We’ll make one for you for $20. They’re a simple way to help emergency responders find your home quickly when seconds count.

Come say hello, grab a goodie bag, order a sign, and enjoy the fair! We’ll be there daily through Sunday night, hopefully just to visit with you.

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the unexpected passing of Tim Nolan, a longtime member of the Lyndonville Fire Department.

Since joining the fire department in 1998, Tim was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who needed it. Over the years, he assisted Lyndon Rescue on countless calls and became much more than a familiar face on scene. He was a mentor, a friend, and a kind-hearted presence to so many emergency service providers throughout our area.

We are grateful for Tim’s many years of service, his friendship, and the impact he had on our public safety community.

Our thoughts are with Tim’s family, friends, and our brothers and sisters at the Lyndonville Fire Department during this incredibly difficult time.

Ambulance 91 made an appearance at Kingdom Campground for their First Responders Weekend celebration, with a parade and touch-a-truck event.

Community outreach is a great way to introduce people of all ages how EMS equipment works and to meet crewmembers in non-stressful situations.
