Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad

Volunteers Since 1942 we provide Ambulance and Rescue Services to the Residents of the Township of Lyndhurst as well as the surrounding areas.

Serving the community since 1942, the Lyndhurst Volunteer Emergency Squad is a nonprofit ambulance and rescue service Lyndhurst prides itself on having committed and loyal volunteers who respond to more than 1900 emergency calls a year. Funded by community donations and organized by volunteers, LPES is always looking for volunteers and contributors. We are a Registered 501(c)(3) tax exempt, nonprofit organization All Donations are Tax Deductible.

Join the Mother-Daughter Zumba Team every Monday and Thursday at 6:30 PM at the Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad!

With over 15 years of experience, they'll lead you through an energetic workout filled with great music, positive vibes, and plenty of fun. Whether you're new to Zumba or a regular on the dance floor, everyone is welcome!

🐝🚑 Community Supporting Community 🚑🐝

The Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad is excited to share and support a wonderful student-led project from Lyndhurst Middle School’s Environmental Club: Bear & Blossom Honey Co.

These 7th grade students have been working hard to learn how honey bees can be part of a sustainable, community-minded project right here in Lyndhurst. We love seeing young people take an idea, research it, build it, and turn it into something positive for the town.

A quick health fact: honey bees play an important role in pollinating many of the fruits, vegetables, and plants we depend on. Supporting pollinators helps support a healthier environment and, in many ways, a healthier community.

The students have created an Amazon Wish List with supplies they need to help bring their project to life.

As volunteers, we know how much small acts of support can mean. Whether it is emergency services, community projects, or students learning through hands-on experience, Lyndhurst is always stronger when we show up for each other.

🎉 Happy 72nd Birthday to one of the true pillars of the Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad, Sal! 🚑💙
Today we celebrate not only 72 incredible years of life, but also an amazing 54 YEARS of dedicated service to our community.
For more than five decades, Sal has answered the call, supported his fellow members, and helped generations of volunteers carry on the tradition of service that makes LPES special. His commitment, kindness, experience, and countless hours given to the people of Lyndhurst have made a lasting impact on our squad and our town.
Please join us in wishing Sal a very Happy Birthday and thanking him for 54 years of volunteer service to the Lyndhurst community! 👏💙
