Thank you, community! šŸ’™

Because of your generosity during the USPS Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, over 8,880 pounds of food was collected for local families in need. That is incredible!

Thank you to the USPS team and volunteers who worked hard collecting and delivering donations, to our volunteers who helped sort and put food away, and to Farmers Equipment Company for loaning us a forklift that made moving around thousands of pounds of food so much easier and faster.

We are continually encouraged by the compassion and support of this community.

We’re excited to receive our first CTK Farm donation of the growing season! 🌱

A big thank you to Christ the King’s Food Share program for dropping off fresh lettuce and potatoes this week—nothing beats fresh, locally grown produce!

We’re looking forward to receiving more produce throughout the season and are so grateful for the tangible way they’re helping care for our neighbors in need. šŸ’š

Big news!

We’re excited to announce Sherrie Turner as the new Executive Director of Christian Hope Association, the organization that leads both Project Hope and New Way Ministries .

Sherrie’s journey with us began years ago—not as a leader, but as a mom seeking support during a difficult season. That experience now shapes how she leads—with empathy, dignity, and a deep understanding of the challenges families face.

Today, she’s helping carry forward the mission of both programs, serving our community with compassion and hope. Sherrie shares:

ā€œChristian Hope Association played a significant role in my own life many years ago when I was a single mom. I came to Project Hope for food assistance, and during a particularly difficult season—while attending school full-time, raising two young children, and working multiple jobs—I found myself unable to pay my electric bill. I turned to Project Hope for help…

I still get emotional thinking about that day. After confirming the need, the director paid my bill. I was overwhelmed and could barely find my words. He responded with something I’ve never forgotten: ā€˜You have a community behind you that cares about you and your children—just pay this forward someday when you can.’ In many ways, joining Christian Hope Association feels like my opportunity to do exactly that.ā€

Welcome, Sherrie—we’re so glad you’re here!

After four years of faithful leadership, our Executive Director, Shannon Zebrowski, will be stepping into a new chapter on April 1. We are so grateful for the way she has led Christian Hope Association, strengthening both Project Hope Food Bank and New Way Ministries.

We are now prayerfully seeking the next Executive Director who can pick up the baton and continue this Christ-centered work by leading our two dynamic programs, Project Hope & New Way Ministries. If someone comes to mind who could be a great fit to lead CHA in the coming season, please share this opportunity with them.
