I recently had dinner with Summer and instantly I connected to her s***k, creativity, joy and most of all her desire to follow God's plan for her life. Many pieces of her puzzle will resonate because of her beautiful vulnerability + the ability to be transparent with the things God has asked of her. I know Summer will leave you inspired and maybe encouraged to also reignite the s***k, energy, excitement and obedience that God has called of you.

"Summer Southern is a veteran, business owner, nonprofit founder, and logistics professional who is passionate about helping others find hope through life’s hardest seasons. After serving in the U. S. Army Reserve and deploying to Iraq, she built a career while also pouring into her community. She is the co-owner of Star Wheels Skate Center and founder of the Quatina M. Wolaver Foundation of Hope. Through every success and challenge, her faith in Jesus Christ has remained the foundation of her life and the source of her redemption. On September 19th she will share her story with honesty and humor and heart, encouraging women to find purpose and hope in the midst of struggle."

Everyone needs an Amy in their life! I think God sent me this woman later in life because she's taught me so much about motherhood and the importance of being present for others. She's the busiest bee I know, but she always makes time for others and the ministry that was birthed from her own grief produces the sweetest of honey. This ministry is better because of her presence, guidance, prayers and creativeness. I know you will feel her genuineness as soon as you meet Amy.... she's definitely one of a kind.

"Hi! My name is Amy Harwell, but I am a messy Christian, blessed wife, momma, grandmother, daughter, and friend. I am married to Justin, and we have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. We are so thankful to call Lincoln County home. Our daughters are doing their adulting life while our son Hayden is holding a place in Heaven for us. I am a true work in progress because I thought being a Christian meant being saved and life would be perfect, but being a faithful follower means keeping that daily walk with God even when life is hard. I am so very thankful for this woman - a woman who has been in my life since I was two and one who has been a huge part of my personal faith journey. Jen believed in Soul Series before I even had my head wrapped around it and pushed me to follow the nudge God was giving. She is a cheerleader for God's word, an encourager and a prayer warrior (definitely a woman you want in your corner). I am thankful to call her my step-mother for 35+ years and now even more thankful to call her a friend. This ministry wouldn't be what it is without her support and love!

"My name is Jennifer and I’m honored to be a part of this ladies conference once again each year holds a special place in my heart. I am a mother and grandmother to seven beautiful grandchildren who bring much joy to my life. For more than 30 years I have had the privilege of serving and caring for others through my work with seniors. My faith and God has carried me through many seasons of both joy and change- today I find myself in a new season of life as a single woman learning more each day about trusting God completely. I am learning that we do not always have to know what comes next when we know Who is leading us. Oh my sweet Hayley! She has been a part of our family for years and an integral part of Soul Series since the beginning. We often tease that we are sisters and through the years we've seen each other become Mama's, endure hardships and celebrate the victories. Hayley is most certainly someone you want in your corner in times of need (she's a firecracker) but most importantly she is a beautiful example of faithfulness and obedience. She is discipling her girls to be strong, courageous and bold in Christ and an inspiration to so many. I couldn't imagine this day without her.

"Hey friends! My name is Hayley Reed. I have been married to the love of my life, Tony, for almost 20 years and we have 2 gorgeous girls, Sawyer and Skylar. Christianity has always been a part of my life, but over the last 5 years my relationship with Him has grown so much. He walked me through the hardest season of my life. In August of 2021, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, 2 weeks later I was hospitalized with covid. Thanks to all the prayers that were being prayed on my behalf, I was able to come home to my family - even while still requiring full time oxygen. This was the only year I have ever missed Soul! Over the next 5 months, my family would lose so many people that were very important to us, but most especially for me was my Daddy. Losing my Daddy while battling cancer was the hardest thing I have ever been through, but I know God never left me. He held me tight through it all!

I can not wait to spend this day with you all in fellowship and give praises to our Lord!"

Brittany has been a part of Soul Series from the very beginning as well - a time when it was held in my dining room and all we had was a leading by God. She walks in a room and can shift the atmosphere with her kindness and smile - a characteristic that she probably doesn't even realize. One of my favorite things about this sweet fiend is her transparency- she is always super aware of others feelings and never misses a chance to share her own struggles to ease the burden. I am thankful for her presence and obedience to all that God has called of her as a Mommy, wife and friend.

"My name is Brittany Cunningham. I am married to my husband, Johnathan Cunningham. We share two beautiful daughters, Annistyn (9) + Ramsey (6). I am a special needs mama, autism activist, + lover of Jesus Christ. My testimony has been built over the course of my entire life including divorced parents, cancer, special needs children, the death of my sister in 2021, + most recently the death of my mother in April. One thing that has remained a constant was the grace, love, peace, + compassion of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I’m excited to spend this time of fellowship with my Sisters in Christ, and I hope you have tissues on hand for a Spirit filled day!

If you have been to Soul Series, you have seen Melissa! She is most certainly been a huge part of this ministry since 2019 and an even greater part of my personal life. Melissa is such a ray of light, always an encourager and one of my (and so many others) greatest prayer warriors. I can't imagine Soul Series without this beautiful woman and I am so very thankful for her obedience to God's calling because she has surely blessed so many others along the way.

God placed Kayla in my life during one of the most challenging seasons of my life and I know it was no accident. I have went through infertility, anxiety, and depression but God pulled me out of those pits and I am so thankful that no matter my circumstances I know where I stand with God and he is always by my side!! I am also thankful I have been blessed with being a part of this amazing Soul Series team!! I look forward to Soul Series every year and it is filled with so much love and God's presence!! My Mama....the encourager, the prayer warrior, the one to keep me vision focused, the one who has never left my side, my steady and my calm. She's the strongest and bravest woman I've ever known and the older I get, the more I see how very blessed God chose her as mine. It's hard to call her a "team member" because she knew Soul Series before it even started, but I am thankful for all she does to make it such a beautiful day.

"I am blessed to be a daughter of the King, a Mama and a Nanny. Even though I grew up in church, never wavered in my faith and tried to raise my girls to be good women, it wasn't until my late forties that I developed a relationship with Jesus. What the devil sent to break me made me stronger. Domestic violence wasn't my end, it was just my beginning - it made me run to Jesus even more. The more the devil ran towards me, the more I ran towards the Word. Ten years later I am still diving deep, seeking His wisdom, asking for knowledge and praying for guidance. It is never to late to pick up your Bible...He's waiting."

This week we will be sharing with you the incredible women behind Soul Series! When I was planning this year's event I knew God was requiring me to switch it up and part of that beautiful change is coming through new Q+A sessions, teaching moments and break out sessions - each being led by the beautiful women behind this ministry.

Katie has been attending Soul Series since the first year, never missing a moment through events and Bible studies. Her dedication to growing in Christ has always been an inspiration to me and I have been honored to call her a friend for many years. Her journey hasn't been easy (quite the opposite), but through every valley and mountain top she's been faithful - just one of the reasons she's been such a wonderful leader on this team. Her commitment is unwavering and her lessons learned along the way will inspire you too! 🩷

"📖 The Holy Grounds Story: An Unexpected Calling | When the Lord Opens a Door... ☕️✨

"It wasn’t our plan, but it was His.
Back in December, our family was on a road trip when we happened across a small coffee trailer with a Biblical theme. We stopped for a cup and, as we looked around, we simply remarked to one another, 'Man, a trailer like this would be such a blessing for somebody to open back home in our county.'
We didn't realize then that the 'somebody' the Lord had in mind was us.
What started as a passing thought quickly turned into a calling. In the weeks that followed, the Lord began opening doors that we never even tried to knock on. He placed the name Holy Grounds on our hearts, gave us a menu inspired by the Word, and provided the way to make it a reality.
We aren't just opening a coffee trailer; we’re following a path that was laid out for us. Our mission is to spread the love of Jesus and give back to the community we love so dearly, one cup at a time. From our signature 'Humble Heart' latte to our 'Manna Frost' treats, we want every cup to be a reminder of His grace.
We are so excited to serve our neighbors and see what the Lord has in store for this mountain!
