We are open Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 4:30PM. We cannot take any transactions after 4:15PM. The administrators of this page will remove any/all of posts that contain the following:

Important Update Regarding Passports:
The Lynchburg Circuit Court Clerk's Office continues to process passport applications/renewals as a courtesy to this community. However, please understand that though we are glad to provide this service, this is an ancillary function and not a priority function for our office. Therefore, depending on the workload, there may be occasions where there is a wait involved. When we anticipate a wait, we will certainly communicate that to those seeking our assistance in case they would like to go elsewhere for this service or come back at a later time. The best times to come to our office for new passports or renewals are between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We stop processing passports at 3:00 pm each day.
