We would like to let everyone know that with the up coming Special Elections on April 21st schools will be in session and voting will be taking place in some of the polling locations please be aware of heavy traffic and take your time and be cautious and careful. Polls open at 6am and closes at 7pm. Please share!

Do to the weather and safety of our voters, we will be following the City of Lynchburg Municipal Offices at 4PM today. Please stay weather aware and we will reopen back tomorrow at 9am on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026.

A lot of voters have been asking if they will receive their ballots if they were receiving them last year. Yes, you will be receiving your ballots in the mail. They just went out on Friday and you should be getting them soon. Be on the lookout for them soon. If you do not receive your ballot by second week of April come into the Registrar's office and participate in Early Voting.

Do you have a loved one in a nursing home facility? Your local Registrar's Office is available to come out and do a Voter Registration Drive, or give you information on how to assist residence to vote by mail. Please reach out to your local Registrar's Office for assistance.

Early Voting will start on March 6th, 2026, here at our office on 825 Kemper Street Ste. A. Right up above the Train Station. We open at 9am to 5pm and we do not close for lunch. If you would like to become an Election Officer, please stop by and inquire about an application. Bring a friend and see how working together can build a successful community.
