This year's Lyman Town Report was dedicated to the library. As many of our patrons know, we diligently keep track of basically *everything.* Number of patrons in the building on an hourly basis, number of items circulated monthly (broken down by section, naturally), how many attendees at any given program (broken down by age), stuffies found, dragon cards earned, etc., etc., etc.

We have years and years worth of statistics showing our usage and growth—at a moment's notice, we can put together charts and graphs showing that growth and usage. But that data doesn't touch on what all of those numbers *mean*. The dedication in the Town Report gets to the heart of what we do, why we do it, and why the institution means so much to us.

The library wouldn't be the library without our community of library patrons—we keep it running, but you give it life.

Sign ups are now open for the Sourdough Starter class. We will be holding this class free of charge on Tuesday June 16th at 6pm. Please know that we are limiting the number of participants to 15 for this. Be sure to sign up quickly, as we have had a great amount of interest.
