They are both juniors from Fulda and will complete Basic training this summer! They are going to 13 Bravos out of Luverne! Welcome to the Red Leg community! You will both do great things!

Please help me in congratulating Gianna Basche! Today Gianna took a huge step to set herself up for success and joined the Minnesota Army National Guard! Gianna is a junior at Pipestone Area Schools. She joined because her grandpa served! She will be field artillery in the Luverne/Pipestone unit allowing her to serve locally while getting 100% paid for college! Congratulations Gianna!!

I want to give a huge shout out to these two! Elly Klosterbuer and Luke Sievert on becoming the newest members of the Minnesota Army National Guard! They will both be serving in 1-125 field artillery battalion as a 13J and 13B! they both made a HUGE step today for setting up a successful future for themselves! Congratulations you two!!!

This past week I was able to spend some time with some amazing students from Luverne High School conducting land navigation. The students did a great job locating the points using only a map and compass. They were also able to enjoy some MRE’s!
