The very first Prickly Pear have flowered!

It's been at least 13 years (probably longer) since this piece of prairie has had any fire, and it really showed. The low humidity yesterday allowed for a nice, slow, consuming fire and we should see some nice results. Look for tall grass and fall prairie flowers later this year!

Temporary seasonal Building and Grounds Worker/Night Security Ranger. This position is anticipated to work from mid-May to Labor Day.
