The t-shirt theme this year was “Just Keep Growing”! We fully embraced the theme and decided to “Just Keep Going”! Despite some not so ideal weather and sunflowers that found their peak a little too soon we had a great time today! A huge thank you to the Town of Luray (Official) parks and rec department for making this event happen! Thank you to all of the event partners and sponsors for supporting this event and PACA’s mission for a healthier substance free community! Thank you to our amazing volunteers for braving the weather and staying to see the sun come out! Thank you to our (for the most part)willing dunk tank volunteers! Thanks to local artists and musicians for providing entertainment for all! We hope we’ll see you next year!

🌻 The Page Valley Sunflower Festival is TODAY! 🌻

Come out to Ralph H. Dean Park from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. for a full day of family fun, community and, of course, SUNFLOWERS!

Enjoy sunflower clipping, hay rides, bounce houses, pony rides, lawn games, a dunk tank, food trucks, craft vendors, a butterfly tent, Brennan’s Balloons and live music from Berry Patch Jam! With so many options, you're sure to find a favorite.

Admission is only $5 per vehicle. Don't forget the 1K Fun Run at 9:30 a.m. — registration begins at 9 a.m. Sunflower clippings are available by donation, with all clipping proceeds benefiting PACA. 🩵

Be sure to grab a clay medallion at the festival, too -- show it to participating downtown and local businesses to redeem special shopping and dining deals!

🌻 TOMORROW: The 7th Annual Page Valley Sunflower Festival! 🌻

Grab the family, invite your friends, and get ready for a full day of sunflowers, music, food and fun at Ralph H. Dean Park in Luray!

August 31st is International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD).

IOAD is an international campaign to take action on overdose. It aims to honor the lives of the loved ones who have died from overdose, show support to those in recovery from substance abuse, and raise awareness about the risks of drug overdose.

Overdose affects every community, but it can be prevented. Be part of the solution by speaking openly, treating others with respect and care, and supporting those around you.

The 7th Annual Page Valley Sunflower Festival takes place next weekend on Saturday, September 5th! You can find the address and time on the image above.

The Sunflower Festival has entertainment and activities for everyone, including hayrides to the sunflower fields, a butterfly garden, pony rides, live music, stilt walking, food vendors, craft vendors, and more. 🦋 When you’re done in the park, visit downtown Luray for dining specials and shopping sales.

There is 5$ fee for each car entering the park.
