Grateful to be a part of this important project!

We are proud to recognize the hard work of our valuable team members during the expansion of our facility. Throughout the construction, North Star employees continued to produce steel as the internal roadway layout was completely changed.

Daily work continued as additional rail infrastructure was added to the yard and the administration building was demolished to make room for additional production activity.

All work was completed while maintaining quality production of steel coils and prioritizing safety for NSBSL team members and on-site contractors. Thank you to our incredible team!

A 160' long Process Control Room (PCR) full of electronic control cabinets. Unfortunately for the owner, another fire protection contractor installed a Xtralis VESDA smoke detector that doesn't have the capacity to fully protect all the cabinets of this critical business operation from fire. Today was Day 1 of Summit Fire Protection re-designing the system layout and installing a proper Xtralis VESDA-E VEP or VEU detector.
