A lot can happen in one weekend.

Over the holiday weekend, City employees could be found throughout Lumberton supporting community events, youth athletics, public safety initiatives, and celebrations across the city.

Thank you to the employees, elected officials, volunteers, and community partners who helped make the weekend a success.

We were proud to host the 2026 NC DYB 6U State Tournament at the Dr. Raymond B. Pennington Athletic Complex and congratulate West Robeson Blue on winning the championship.
