The Annual Trunk or Treat returns to Lumberton on Friday, October 16th. The event will feature Food Trucks, Kids’ Activities, Fall activities, and a large Trunk or Treat! Prizes awarded to best costume and groups. Event is 5-8, but Trunk or Treat runs from 5-7 PM!

Want to be part of the fun? Be part of the Trunk or Treat! This is a great opportunity for groups, businesses, and organizations to meet the families in our community! Free to participate-must provide goodies for the kids!

The Lumberton Township Historical Society 250th Celebration Awards Ceremony was held in the Community Room of the Municipal Building on August 18th at 4:00pm and light refreshments were provided to all who attended.

Special thanks to the Lumberton Historical Society for coordinating the contest and inviting the Lumberton Township Committee to co-host the Awards Ceremony!

Tax Bills Coming Soon!

Lumberton Township has received our new tax rate but we are still in the process of having the bills printed and mailed out. Your tax amounts are able to be viewed / paid online at this time however, it will still be a few weeks before you receive the physical bill in the mail.

The extended due date for the 3rd quarter taxes is Wednesday, September 23, 2026. There is no grace period beyond this date. All payments received after September 23th will receive interest back to the statutory due date of August 1st.
