The foundation went in without an issue. You can see they worked all through the night in the time lapse video. Thanks to ALLCO, Modern Concrete and all of the other sub contractors for doing an amazing job planning and preforming this large foundational pour.

We are hoping to get good weather next week so the concrete floor of one of the new aeration basins can be poured. It is approximately 250 concrete truck loads. They will start late one night and go into the next day. Pray for good weather next week.

Cold weather is on the way, so now’s a good time to protect your water lines. Turning off your water alone doesn’t always prevent pipes from freezing or bursting unless the lines are fully drained—which can be tough to do. Any water left in exposed pipes can still freeze and cause damage. If you do shut off your water, don’t forget to turn off your water heater to prevent damage or safety issues. The best way to protect your plumbing is to insulate any exposed pipes before temperatures drop. While dripping faucets isn’t recommended since it can increase water use and make your bill higher than normal, it may help prevent freezing if it’s your only option.

Please keep in mind: Water used for dripping faucets is billed as normal usage, and adjustments or credits are not available.
