☀️ Summer Skills Series is Here! ☀️

We are excited to kick off our Summer Skills Series, beginning this week! Each Monday for the next 9 weeks, we will be sharing a new skill for students to practice at home.

These skills are life skills and school readiness skills designed to help your child grow into an independent, responsible, and confident learner. By practicing alongside your child each week, you are helping set them up for success in the classroom and beyond.

Small, consistent practice at home makes a big difference—and we are excited to partner with you this summer!

📚 Don’t forget your Summer Reading Log!
Please be sure your child is reading at least 15 minutes a day and logging their reading. This helps keep skills strong and supports continued growth as a reader all summer long.

A huge thank you to Chick-fil-A for sending the cow to our Most Common Words Dance Pep Rally today! The kids had an absolute blast dancing, laughing, and celebrating their learning. Seeing their excitement and smiles made the event even more special. We also appreciate Chick-fil-A providing each student with a coupon for a free dessert to celebrate their accomplishment. Thank you for helping make our students feel so celebrated and proud of their hard work! 🐄❤️

Yesterday, we had the honor of celebrating Cheryl Spears and her retirement after an incredible 27 years of dedication, love, and service to our campus. Cheryl has been such a special part of our school family, and her impact will continue to be felt for years to come. Her kindness, hard work, and willingness to always step in and help wherever needed have meant so much to both our staff and students.

While we are so excited for this new chapter in her life, there is no doubt that our campus will deeply miss her presence each day. The halls will not be the same without her smile, caring heart, and constant support. Cheryl leaves behind a legacy of love, commitment, and selflessness that we are all so grateful for.

Thank you, Cheryl, for 27 amazing years of pouring into our campus and the lives of so many students and staff members. We love you, we appreciate you, and we wish you nothing but happiness, relaxation, and many blessings in retirement.
