On Thursday, February 8th at 7:02pm, we were alerted for a First Due structure fire in the 1900 block of Issac Creek Rd off of Gregory Run Rd. This time of year is our prime time for structure fires, and with the lower than normal temperatures we have been having, here are some tips for heating safety!

Some of the members got to attend Karlin Flagle’s going away party tonight! If you didn’t know Karlin, you surely missed out! Karlin is the reigning Water Battle Champion of the historic Eagle District Fair held in Lumberport for many, many years! Karlin is a one of a kind guy, and he will surely be missed by all in the Lumberport and Shinnston communities! It’s not good bye, it’s just see you later, Karlin! Good Luck and stay out of trouble in Harrisonburg, Va! 👨🏻‍🚒🚒🚨❤️

Lumberport Volunteer Fire Dept. was awarded the AFG grant in the Fall of 2024. With the grant, the LVFD was able to purchase fourteen 30 Year Extended Life air cylinders, packs and masks. Christmas came a couple weeks early for us, and we look forward to continuing to serve our community and surrounding communities! 🖤❤️🚒🎄
