🩺Learning the Importance of Communication! 💬
Principles of Health Science students had a fun, hands-on week learning all about the importance of effective communication in the healthcare field!
Students participated in several interactive activities, including one where they wore noise-canceling headphones and had to read their partner’s lips to understand what they were saying. In another activity, students were blindfolded and had to listen carefully to their partner’s directions to navigate around the “mines” scattered across the floor! 😆🕶️💣
These activities were a great reminder that communication takes listening, patience, clarity, and teamwork—all essential skills in healthcare.
