Area IX Convention at SFA!

The TXHSWS State buildoff or a wrap! Talk about some tired kids. They worked super hard and turned in a completed wood stove project. Now it’s up to the judges to determine who’s was the best! We find out results tomorrow afternoon. No matter what the outcome we are super proud of them and all they’ve accomplished this year!

Nothing quite like the sound of over 50 welding machines in the morning. Over 20 teams from all over Texas from the East Texas Pineywoods to the tip of the panhandle, from the red river to the rio grande. and even one team from New Mexico have converged on Abilene Tx to battle it out in the THSWS State Championship build-off. These kids are truly the best of the best. Come tomorrow we will know who the best welding team in Texas is! Stay tuned!
