A story about East Texas, brought to the big screen with plenty of SFA connections. 💜🎬

Join us on Tuesday, Sept. 29, for a free screening of the acclaimed PBS documentary “The Neches River: Wild Heart of East Texas,” a stunning look at the beauty, history and environmental significance of one of Texas’ last wild rivers.

The film was produced by SFA alumna Ellen Temple, with several other SFA graduates also lending their talents to the production.

Weather Warnings or Watches are in effect for most of Deep East Texas today. Tropical Depression Edouard is producing very heavy rainfall and flash flooding in portions of our region. Continue to monitor the weather and heed all advisories issued by local authorities. Never drive through flooded roadways -- Remember: Turn Around - Don't Drown!
