👏 A HUGE shoutout to Kelly Mullis from our Dublin Division!

While transporting a patient, another vehicle unexpectedly entered the ambulance’s lane, creating a potentially very dangerous situation. Because Kelly was alert, attentive, and focused on the road, he was able to react quickly, avoid an accident, and ensure that the patient and crew arrived safely.

Moments like this are a powerful reminder of just how important safe, attentive driving is in EMS. Kelly’s situational awareness and quick response helped keep everyone safe, and we are incredibly proud to have him on the Excelsior team.

From the dispatch center to the field, William Lumley brings more than three decades of public safety experience to Excelsior.

We’re excited to announce William as Division Manager for our Dublin Division. William joined Excelsior in 2025 following a career that includes 17 years as a 911 dispatcher and 16 years in EMS, giving him a unique perspective on emergency response from the initial call through patient care.

We look forward to William’s continued leadership and all that’s ahead for our Dublin team!

We’re excited to congratulate Joel Buchannan on his new role as Division Manager for our Ludowici Division!

Joel has a long history with Excelsior, first joining the company 15 years ago and returning between contracts and deployments throughout his career. He began working in EMS in 1994 and served as a PSS/Paramedic with the U.S. Department of State before retiring as a Protective Services Agent in December 2025.

We’re proud to have Joel’s experience and leadership guiding our Ludowici team. Please join us in congratulating him on his new role!
