Ludington Area Senior Center The Ludington Area Senior Center takes pride in being the place for Senior Citizens and their friends REGISTRATION IS IMPORTANT FOR ALL PROGRAMS.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Ludington Area Senior Center is to promote "Healthy Aging" by providing an opportunity for the productive and satisfying use of leisure time; to create an environment where individual differences and needs are recognized; to develop quality programs and services which will contribute to the meeting of those needs; and to serve as a bridge to other services for

those age 55 years and over. LUDINGTON AREA SENIOR CENTER GOALS

•Develop recreational activities, which will provide opportunities for socialization, entertainment, and a sense of belonging.
•Develop educational programs designed to stimulate members to new areas of interest and provide opportunities for regaining skills and knowledge.
•Develop creative activities, which will facilitate self-expression, achievement, and recognition.
•Facilitate independent living through supportive services and counseling.
•Provide opportunities for meaningful volunteer work and community service.
•Develop programs designed for older adults with special needs including the handicapped, those with impaired vision and hearing, and residents of protective home settings.
•Promote the physical and emotional well being of the elderly.
•Serve as an information and referral center.
•Provide and interpret facts about Aging, and the lives of older people in the community. PLEASE NOTE- If you are interested in attending one of our programs - PLEASE REGISTER. We have cancelled some programs and then had people show up to attend. If there are not enough people registered to attend, we contact the presenter and cancel the program.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out for our Senior Fitness Day today! 💪🎉 We loved seeing so many people trying new ways to stay active and healthy.

Participants enjoyed sample classes in Yoga, Zumba, Cardio Drumming, Stretch, Fit & Balance, Enhanced Fitness, and Line Dancing. ❤️
