We’ve had a big week here at AeroCare 4. Buck one of our Flight Nurses celebrates his 3 year anniversary with us and Andrew one of our Flight Paramedics received his 500th flight wings. And lastly we say “see you later” to Aaron he’s off to another adventure in Wyoming.

🚔 ES**RT NOTICE – TRANS AERO CREW 🚔

*** 1250 PM UPDATE: The procession has left the staging area and is westbound on US Highway 380 from Capitan Gap Road. ***

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting an honor es**rt for the Trans Aero Crew, at approximately 11 am this morning (5/16), and will be traveling from the area of US Highway 380 and Capitan Gap Road, westbound on US Highway 380 through:

📍 Capitan
📍 Carrizozo
📍 Bingham
📍 San Antonio

The es**rt will then proceed onto Interstate 25 en route to the Office of the Medical Investigator in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Anyone wanting to join along the route is welcome but please be mindful to join at the tail end of the es**rt.

Motorists should expect temporary traffic delays along the es**rt route and are asked to use caution and remain alert for emergency vehicles and personnel assisting with the procession.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office appreciates the cooperation of assisting agencies and the patience and respect shown by the public during this es**rt operation.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our colleague and friend. This loss is heartbreaking and it’s difficult to find the right words to express what many of us are feeling right now. They were more than a teammate. They brought warmth, dedication, and a spirit of happiness that made our team stronger. Whether through their willingness to help, steady presence during challenging moments, or the kindness showed in everyday interactions. 🌟 **Employee Recognition** 🌟

I would like to take a moment to recognize an employee who truly went above and beyond.

Ty, a new EMT with Seminole EMS, demonstrated what it means to have a servant’s heart this past Saturday night. While responding to a motor vehicle crash East of town, the crew came upon a disabled vehicle with two women standing outside. Believing it may have been the reported accident, they stopped to check on their safety. After determining it was not the original call, the crew continued on to the MVC.

Once the call was cleared, Ty insisted on going back to assist the women — stopping to change their tire and ensure they were safe before leaving.

This is the kind of dedication that defines Seminole EMS. We are blessed to have team members who genuinely care for others and are committed to serving our community, even when no one is watching.

Jerry Martinez, Base Medical Manager at AeroCare 4 in Seminole, Texas, has been honored as September's Flight Paramedic of the Month. We couldn't be prouder!

Jerry demonstrated outstanding leadership and dedication by assisting his flight team with a critical ground transport of an unstable patient. What's even more impressive is that Jerry was off duty at the time and just happened to be at the base when the request came in. His commitment to patient care and his team truly exemplifies the spirit of GMR/Med-Trans/AeroCare.
