It's hard to capture a year at the library in one list of numbers (which is why we try to share glimpses throughout the year!), but the numbers are part of the story! Here's one look at 2025 at the library.

First up... we set a new record for checkouts for a second year in a row, across physical AND digital items, as well as total items shared with other libraries in our system! We love how central books are to our library.

We also want to draw attention to the list of collaboration and participation--working with other organizations in our community is one of our cornerstones, and we're so grateful for that list.

Finally--YOU make our library what it is. Behind each of these numbers is a person--an adult who checked out a book for the first time since they were a kid, someone who needed a place to send a fax, a family who sang Tommy Thumb (a favorite song at our library) at storytime. We say it often but never take it for granted--We love being your library.

The last set of new books for April. It’s wild that it’s the end of the month, right? It felt both long and short in crazy ways… but at least some great books hit our shelves!
