Home Football Game Safety Reminders

As we gear up for another exciting season of Friday night football, we want to remind our Burrell School District community of the safety measures in place at all home games:

Weapons detectors are in use at all gates — every guest will go through screening to enter.

All bags are subject to search, including purses and diaper bags.

No re-entry policy: once you're in, please stay in — no admittance after halftime.

K-8 families are asked to enter together and remain in the bleachers except when visiting the concession stand or restroom.

We also ask all spectators to follow our Spectator Code of Conduct, promoting good sportsmanship and respect for everyone involved.

Thank you for helping us keep every Friday night safe, fun, and positive for our players, coaches, and community!

🏴‍☠️ What does it mean to Be a Proud Buccaneer?

Burrell School District just unveiled its Portrait of a BUC — a shared vision for what every student should carry with them by the time they graduate. It's built around four simple ideas: Learn. Create. Lead. Succeed.

It's about more than grades and test scores. It's about curiosity, problem-solving, taking responsibility, building relationships, and being part of a community — skills students build in classrooms, but also on the field, in the studio, through clubs, and out in the community.

Throughout the year, we'll be sharing stories of students, teachers, and families bringing this vision to life. Once a BUC, always a BUC! 🏴‍☠️

BURRELL SCHOOL DISTRICT Families - We are working to finalize the setup between our Skyward Qmlative upgrade and RevTrak, the system used for electronic payments to student food service accounts. We expect to have it resolved by Thursday, August 27th. Your child may make payments for à la carte food purchases or add to their food service account balance by cash or check at any cafeteria register.

Breakfast and lunch entrees still remain free for all students.
