Don't miss this opportunity!

On Monday, September 14th National Grid will be hosting a Customer Assistance Event at Butler Middle School to provide customers with options to manage their energy bills and ways to save money.

Advocates will be on-site to help customers explore options and determine eligibility for assistance including the following:
* Discount Rates
* Payment Plans
* Budget Plan
* Arrears Management Program (AMP)

Recipients of SNAP, MassHealth, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), or WIC should bring their benefit card or letter to enroll in National Grid’s discount rate for gas and electric accounts

Translation assistance will be available for Spanish, Portuguese and Haitian Creole.

LOWELL VOTERS: Still have your mail-in ballot? It’s time to return it!

Don’t let your vote sit on the kitchen table!

Complete your ballot, make sure it’s properly sealed and signed, and return it to the official secure ballot drop box in the lobby of the Lowell Police Department at JFK Plaza, available 24/7.

You can also return your ballot directly to the Lowell Elections Commission at City Hall, 375 Merrimack Street.

⚠️ Important: Mail-in ballots cannot be dropped off at your polling place on Election Day.

⏰ Election Day is Tuesday, September 1. Polls are open from 7 AM to 8 PM.

Early Voting across the state begins TOMORROW!!!

Busy on Election Day Tuesday, September 1st? Cast your ballot early by going to the Senior Center between Saturday and Friday August 28th!

Don't want to leave your house? Apply to vote by mail or if you've already done that turn your ballot back in by mailing it to the Lowell Elections Office or dropping it off yourself at City Hall!

Last night’s Lowell State Representative Candidate Forum was a full house!

Thank you to all the candidates who participated and shared their views with our community. We are especially grateful to our MC, Matt Myers, for guiding the conversation and ensuring that every question was presented clearly and fairly.

Thank you as well to the organizations that planned the forum, the volunteers who kept everything running smoothly, and every resident who joined us.

The respectful conversation, strong community participation, and quality of this year’s candidates were encouraging signs of a healthy local democracy. Voters will have important choices to make this election season.

We look forward to continuing these forums during future elections. Stay tuned!
