The countdown is on for the final Summer on the Green Movie & Concert Series event of the season, and we can’t wait to see you on Friday, August 14th!

After votes were cast both on Facebook and at Mayfest, the Lovettsville community made its choice … How to Train Your Dragon will be lighting up the big screen!

📌 The fun starts long before the movie begins!

Before How to Train Your Dragon takes the big screen on Friday, August 14, come enjoy an evening of incredible local talent!

From 6:00–8:00 p.m., students from Loudoun Music Instruction will take the stage, showcasing their hard work and musical talents. Come cheer on these amazing young performers and enjoy live music as we kick off the evening together.

After the performances, enjoy the final Summer on the Green movie of the season, How to Train Your Dragon!

There’s no better way to celebrate summer than with live music, great food, and a movie under the stars. We can’t wait to see you there!

💙 What a Night, Lovettsville! 💙

National Night Out 2026 was one for the books! Thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of fun, community, and connecting with the first responders who help keep Lovettsville safe every day.

A special THANK YOU to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, Lovettsville Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Virginia State Police, and the Loudoun County Health Department for spending the evening with our community, and for bringing the fun… and the sirens! 🚓🚒🚨

🍔🍦🥤 From the action-packed obstacle courses and tug-of-war hosted by Fitness Image Results, to delicious food from the LOVETTSVILLE LIONS CLUB, refreshing drinks from Splash Soda Shop, and sweet treats from Gruto's Soft Serve, there was something for everyone to enjoy!

🏆 And now for the moment you’ve been waiting for…

For the second year in a row, the defending champions from Lovettsville Volunteer Fire and Rescue held onto their title, pulling off another tug-of-war victory over the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State Police! 💪🚒 Congratulations to this year’s champions!

Thank you to everyone who came out to make this year’s National Night Out such a memorable evening. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
