Back in 2008 during the Tollhouse restoration, this elaborate door k**b / lock was discovered in the eaves. You can see in the design that it belonged to B&O Railroad. Was it perhaps hidden in the eaves to avoid melting down for one of the Wars?

Can anyone put a date on this?

A couple years ago my sister helped me uncover a rock etching near my creek (here at Lovettsville Tollhouse). We drew a diagram of it for clarity. Still not sure what it means, so hopefully posting to Facebook will help. Best guess is somebody bought the place in 1890s and for some reason etched some sort of plan into the rock...?)
