Remembering 9/11: On this day, 25 years ago, 2,977 innocent lives were lost. The Loves Park Police Department joins our nation in remembering and honoring those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

This morning, we joined fellow first responders and community members at the Winnebago County 9/11 Emergency Responders Memorial to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the attacks and honor the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Schnucks Days are almost here! 🏃‍♂️🥇 The Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run is teaming up with Schnucks to raise funds and awareness for the athletes of Special Olympics Illinois!

Loves Park Police Department will be at the Schnucks in Loves Park this weekend collecting donations and selling Torch Run merchandise.

During this event, local law enforcement will sell merchandise inside their local Schnucks to support Special Olympics Illinois.

UPDATE: We are overwhelmed (in the best way!) by the amazing responses we’ve received for our Pumpkin Painting event! Due to limited space and materials, we were only able to open 50 spots and registration is now full.

Today, our Support Services Sergeant joined the Loves Park Fire Department at Harlem Township to give a presentation on Emergency Preparedness! 🚨🚒

The goal of this program is to help ensure everyone in our area has the information and resources they need to feel prepared and know what to do when an emergency happens. Thank you to Harlem Township for having us and giving us another opportunity to connect with and educate the community!
