🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL SAFETY REMINDER 🚸

School starts next week, and the Lovelock Police Department would like to remind drivers to start preparing for increased traffic around our schools, neighborhoods, and crosswalks.

As students head back to class, please remember:

🚸 Slow down in school zones and pay attention to posted speed limits.

🚌 Watch for school buses and be prepared for frequent stops as students are picked up and dropped off.

👀 Stay alert for children walking or biking to and from school, especially near crosswalks and residential areas.

📵 Put the phone down. A few seconds of distraction can have serious consequences.

Next week means more kids, buses, and traffic on our roads. Give yourself a little extra time and help us make the start of the school year a safe one.

SLOW DOWN • STAY ALERT • KEEP OUR KIDS SAFE
