Just a heads up!
The Clerk-Treasurer's office will be closed on Wednesday, September 16th for the duration of the Commissioner's meeting due to staffing issues. As always, you can make your tax payments online at www.pershingcountynv.gov or by calling 888-891-6064. Thank you for your understanding.

The Pershing County Clerk-Treasurer's office will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. We will resume normal hours on Tuesday, September 8th.

Notice is hereby given that the first installment of the 2026-2027 taxes on all property on the Pershing County Tax Roll is due and payable on or before Monday, August 17, 2026. Due to the Tax Rate error we will be extending the grace period to 20 days (September 7th).

Nevada Revised Statute 361.485 provides a penalty of 4% on any one quarter, 5% on any two quarters, 6% on any three quarters, and 7% on any four quarters of taxes which are delinquent if not paid within ten days after the due date.

**UPDATE ON FY26-27 TAX BILLS**
The General Fund Tax Rate was incorrectly input as 1.6340 instead of 1.0634. The rate has been corrected and new bills will mailed as soon as possible. Not all taxpayers will see a change. If you have any questions, please call our office at 775-273-2208.
