How big is Bighorn Canyon?
Here is a picture with a corn cob for scale.

Hmmm… Not helpful.

What about this?
If the average ear of corn is approximately 7.5 inches and Bighorn Canyon is 45 miles long… Bighorn Canyon is 380,160 ears of corn long!

Make sure you take some time to explore a few of the 380,160 ears of corn that Bighorn Canyon has to offer!

Good news!! The courtesy dock has officially been put in at Horseshoe Bend.

Today, the current lake elevation of Bighorn Lake is 3620.6 ft., which is just above the minimum launch level for small or flat-bottomed boats.

The minimum launch level for larger watercraft like wakeboard or ski boats is 3625ft.

Please continue to use caution while recreating on Bighorn Lake. Travel is not advised through the South Narrows.

If levels drop below 3620ft., the dock will be removed regardless of date.

Taking the time for oneself to reflect and recharge can be just as important as being with others when things get overwhelming.

Giving yourself a break from the world, even if it is a short walk around a parking lot or down a trail at Bighorn Canyon could be just the thing you need to get back on track, looking deeper in yourself, and maybe figure out that things will be okay before joining back to the world.
