Some group of misfits has created a fake site using the graphics from this page.
The title is a slight alteration and reads "...former City Councilor award 4..."
I have not been using this page this year while posting on other pages as well as my personal page. I suspect this page will become active later this summer.
Cheers to Spring and Summer which should be upon us very soon!

How do the politicians that have created the wide open border situation justify the human tragedy as a result of their policies? Why are we not outraged? Perhaps reading the article and seeing a picture of the young girl (see comments) will stir hearts to righteous anger?

Well we are finally hearing about the lagging effects of the Biden/Harris border under control policy policy from Aurora CO, Springfield OH, and now a community near Gettysburg PA. I wonder how soon before Larimer County is forced to comply as Denver is already unable to deal with the problem forced on them. Yup, everything is under control.

Read the full article online or in the paper tomorrow. The "For the People" councilor, who loves recalls will employ every lawyer move he can to delay the vote which 2,000 Ward 1 signatures requested.

This broke me up today. A staff person informed me that the City's Executive Team Meeting is being referred to as "Acting Class" as there are now many in acting positions due to all the resignations.

Maybe this is why politicians, even local ones, are afraid to talk to the press? Then again, what is there to fear when the media covers for you while pretending to do their job.

Location is always an issue as the tendency is "not in my backyard". There is a good point to that in most zoning issues. Why would a city allow zoning for a homeless shelter on one of its two main thoroughfares? Does council think this helps meet it's goal of making Loveland a tourist destination? How does this add value to the commercial interests in our community that generates property and sales tax for the funding of city services for all. Lastly, in 2023 council denied zoning changes for an apartment complex at 34 and Jefferson as it just did not fit in the neighborhood. I supported that decision as citizen concerns were valid. This shelter location apparently driven by the availability of a site and money to execute are not the only compelling reasons to move forward. I hope the City Council listens to the citizens and business community or I fear trust in government will be further eroded.
