Loveland residents: Watch your mailboxes. 📬 This week, 4,000 randomly selected households will start receiving information about the City of Loveland’s biennial National Community Survey and we want to hear from YOU!

Your confidential feedback helps guide City priorities and ensures we’re focusing on what matters most to our community.
âś” Mailed surveys are legitimate and should be returned by July 27.
✔ For those who don't receive a survey by mail, an online and paper survey option will be available to all residents July 6–27.
âś” Both survey versions are identical, but if you receive instructions through the mail, please complete that one to help us keep our data statistically valid.

Survey results will be compiled and shared with the community this fall.

Ready to save water with one simple switch?

Instead of hosing down patios and sidewalks, try sweeping. Sweeping keeps pollutants out of storm drains, reduces water waste and still leaves your spaces clean.

It’s a small habit change that saves water and money. Every responsible choice adds up. 💧

🚧 Project Update: East First Street Wastewater Interceptor 🚧

We’re excited to share that two-way traffic will reopen on East First Street on the evening of June 5.
Temporary traffic controls will remain in place as crews complete final project work. Motorists are encouraged to use caution and follow all posted signs when traveling through the work zone. The project is expected to be completed in mid-June.

Thank you for your patience and support as we make these necessary improvements that will benefit the community for years to come.

Loveland, enjoy the ride! 🚗✨

North Taft Avenue heading southbound is open!

This past year, the Public Works and Utilities Departments worked on another collaborative project to improve our water and stormwater infrastructure, as well as the roadway. The North Taft Avenue Water and Storm Improvements Project began in December 2025. In 2026, waterline infrastructure was completed in March and then followed up with majority of the stormwater work completed.

Work on the east side of Taft Avenue along the west bank of Lake Loveland has been delayed due to higher-than-normal lake water levels this past winter. If water levels allow for safe construction in early 2027, the remaining stormwater improvements will move forward. The final phase of work will include replacing large shoreline rocks and installing erosion control measures to help stabilize the bank.

Don't worry, Loveland, we won't be closing the road again. You may see a single lane or sidewalk closure during this work though.

We appreciate everyone's patience as we completed another major capital improvement project for our water and stormwater divisions. To view previous work, visit https://www.letstalkloveland.org/taft-ave-water-storm-improvements
