Jon Mallo - Board Member, Front Range Passenger Rail District

Jon Mallo - Board Member, Front Range Passenger Rail District The Front Range Passenger Rail District Board is committed to a safe rail system linking Colorado’s Front Range communities, jobs, and services.

Near-term focus is securing funding for Fort Collins–Pueblo, with future expansion to New Mexico and Wyoming. Humble Beginnings:
Jon Mallo was born and raised in small town Iowa by a single father and grandmother, who lived next door. He worked hard to put himself through college at the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!), graduating with a degree in finance. Throughout his 43-year career, he continued

to raise the bar for himself by never settling for less than he could achieve. His modest beginnings and hard work ethic have shaped his dedication to the Loveland community he now calls home. Boards and Committees:
• Habitat for Humanity - Board President
• Loveland Housing Authority - Board of Directors
• Mayor Pro Tem - Selected Unanimously
• National League of Cities Transportation and Infrastructure Committee
• Loveland Fire Rescue Authority Board of Directors
• Front Range Passenger Rail District Board of Directors
• Loveland Downtown Development District Board of Directors

Vision:
• Be a leader in predicting and solving Loveland's future transportation needs
• Continue to pay our fair share for the supportive services for people in need
• Business development, both large/small: providing practical incentives as a way to compete
• Support and cultivate affordable housing organizations
• Dignified elder care
• Increase productivity of Loveland City Council meetings through collaboration
