The MISSION of the Loup City Library is to provide informational, cultural, educational, and recreational resources and services to all residents of Sherman County. Over 25,000 items available!
- 12 Brand new computers available for public use, including 3 new laptops, internet access, wi-fi, you can now print from each of the computers.
- DVDs and VHS movies are available for check-out for one we

- A variety of fun cake pans may be checked out for three days.
- Check out our selection of books on tape and large print books.

Someone who was in Ashton yesterday and loup city this morning, found a kitty in their car motor. Kitty is not impressed. If you are missing a very loud kitty, let me know—call the library. Otherwise, rehoming asap. My kitties not impressed.

🇵🇱 Maria Urbaniec-Downarowicz, known by her nom de guerre “Myszka,” has passed away at the age of 98. During the Warsaw Uprising, at just 16 years old, she served as a messenger in the Zośka Battalion, always appearing wherever she was needed most.

🩹 Beyond delivering information, she tended to the wounded and demonstrated unwavering resilience, even after being seriously injured in the line of duty. Her fondest memory of the Uprising was the moment it began; it was then she felt that, after so many years, a piece of Poland was finally free once again.
