Yesterday I arrived in Florida and hit the ground running with a full day of meetings for our campaign. It has been incredibly encouraging to see the excitement and support from the Cuban-American community in Miami.

As someone who came to this country after an 11-year journey from Cuba, I understand the value of freedom, opportunity, and the American Dream. Meeting with fellow Cuban Americans reminds me why I'm running: to defend those values and fight for a stronger future for Louisville, Kentucky's 3rd District, and our nation.

The energy is real. The momentum is growing. And the Cuban-American Train is rolling full speed ahead to help me Make Louisville and KY-03 Great Again! 🇺🇸🚂

Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me, encouraged me, and joined this movement. The best is yet to come.

Yesterday was a special day at the Cuba Mía Festival.

As a Cuban immigrant who came to America seeking freedom, standing before our community as the first Cuban American to win a congressional primary in Kentucky was both humbling and emotional.

This victory is bigger than politics. It belongs to every person who arrived in this country with a dream, worked hard, learned a new language, built a family, started a business, served their community, and never gave up on the American Dream.

I am grateful for Nuris and Alain for bringing our community together to celebrate our culture, heritage, and freedom.

America gave me opportunities I could never have imagined. It allowed me to become a citizen, a business owner, a nurse and now a candidate for Congress.

My story is proof that where you were born does not determine how much you love this country. Patriotism is measured by your actions, your sacrifices, and your commitment to freedom.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey. I will never forget where I came from, and I will never stop fighting to preserve the American Dream for future generations.

Today we honor the Stars and Stripes the enduring symbol of our freedom, unity, and the sacrifices made by generations of Americans.

As a legal immigrant who chose America and proudly became a citizen, Flag Day holds a special meaning for me. The American flag represents opportunity, hope, and the freedoms that millions around the world dream of.

May we never take it for granted.

Today we celebrate 234 years of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Kentucky is more than a place on a map. It is a land of hardworking families, small businesses, farmers, first responders, healthcare workers, veterans, and neighbors who look out for one another.

As someone who came to this country legally in search of freedom, I never take for granted the privilege of calling Kentucky home. This Commonwealth welcomed my family, gave me opportunity, and allowed me to build a life as a nurse, small business owner, and proud American.

Happy 234th Birthday, Kentucky!

May God continue to bless our Commonwealth and the people who make it great.

I’ve been called a RINO because I’m willing to sit down and have conversations with people who don’t think exactly like I do.

If wanting an America that is united instead of divided makes me a RINO, then so be it.

The reality is that only an educated mind is capable of listening to different ideas without necessarily accepting them. I can engage in meaningful conversations with people who disagree with me without compromising my values, my faith, or my conservative principles.

A strong person doesn’t fear dialogue. A strong person knows who they are and what they believe.

You can be firmly conservative and still treat people with respect. You can defend your principles while recognizing the humanity of those who see the world differently.

If we cannot even have a conversation with one another, then we become part of the very problem we claim to be fighting.

I want an America where we can disagree passionately, defend our beliefs, and still remember that we are one nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all 🇺🇸

Respectful debate is not weakness. It is part of a healthy democracy.

I know who I am. I know what I stand for. And I refuse to believe that listening is weakness.
