Please join us for a presentation by Jessica K. Whitehead on her award-winning book “Driftwood: The Life of Harlan Hubbard” on Thursday, September 10 @ 6:30 PM in our Visitors Center. Learn about one of Kentucky’s most influential 20th century artists Harlan Hubbard (1900-1988) and his life as a writer, artist, and sustainability pioneer. Known for his shantyboat sojourns on the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers with his wife Anna, Ms. Whitehead reveals a complex portrait of an iconic American thinker and artist. This talk is part of Riverside’s 2026 Local Writers, Local Connections Series. While the presentation is free, we encourage you to reserve your seats in advance by using the QRCode or by calling 502-935-6809. Light refreshments will be served and books will be available for sale and signing by the author. We look forward to seeing you here!
