Partnering for a safer community!

Recently, Major James Hundley, AMFEMS Fire Marshal, led a commercial hood and suppression system training for the Department of Public Health and Wellness staff at 400 E. Gray Street. The class included classroom instruction and video demonstrations covering how these systems are installed, operated, inspected, and returned to service after an incident response.

By working alongside our partner agencies, we can strengthen fire code compliance, support safer businesses, and better protect the people we serve.

THANK YOU, AMFEMS COMMUNITY!

On behalf of everyone at Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS, I want to extend our sincere gratitude to our residents, businesses, community partners, families, friends, and supporters who helped make this year's WHAS Crusade for Children campaign such an incredible success.

Together, we were honored to present $176,501.10 to the WHAS Crusade for Children, representing nearly a 40% increase over last year’s total.

This accomplishment belongs to all of you. Every donation, every raffle ticket purchased, every event attended, every sponsorship, and every act of generosity helped make a difference. Your support will help provide critical services, equipment, therapies, and opportunities for children with special needs throughout our community and across Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

Year after year, our community demonstrates an incredible commitment to helping others. The generosity and compassion shown throughout this campaign are a reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together for a common purpose.

From all of us at AMFEMS, thank you for your trust, your partnership, and your unwavering support of the Crusade for Children. Most importantly, thank you for helping improve the lives of so many deserving children and families.

We are proud to serve a community that cares so deeply for others.

Thank you for helping us make a difference.

— Chief Pat Walsh and the members of Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS

Be on the lookout and stay tuned for AMFEMS on the WHAS Crusade for Children! We do not have a number yet, but our crews will be arriving downtown at 3:00 pm. We will hopefully go on shortly after that.

We are excited to deliver an awesome total again this year on behalf of our community and all of our dedicated members of AMFEMS!
