For those of you that have been hearing rumors, it is true our district Old Kentucky Home will be dissolving. There will be official word coming out in the next couple of weeks so if I don't get where your county is going right please don't get too upset.

Bullitt and Spencer country will become part of the Iroquois district.

Nelson,Washington, Marion, and Taylor counties will become a part of the Lincoln Trails district.

Green and Adair counties will become part of the Wapiti district.

This will officially take place on December 1st.

This will be a transition for all of us volunteers and professional scouters alike and things will eventually be smoothed out. I am not sure what will be done if you hold a set on our district committee, weather you will keep your position as a co volunteer or if you will be asked to vacate.

Keep in mind at the end of it all we are here to serve the youth not ourselves.

If there are any questions please feel free to express them here or you can contact Mike Mireles at the council office.

You may also get in touch with me Brad Bader here on Facebook and I will try to get any questions answered.

Thank you guys for everything you've done. Keep our OKH spirit in your hearts and please carry it with you to your new districts.
