Say hello to Blaine Sparks! For the past two years, Blaine has been a valued member of our Building Inspection team, helping make a real difference in our community.

Outside of work, Blaine enjoys camping and spending time playing games with family and friends. What he enjoys most about his role is seeing projects move from start to finish and knowing they are built safely.

Thank you to our Vacant Lots team for stepping up to help a family in need and making a positive difference in our community.

This is the kind of Louisville story that makes me proud.

Today, we recognized Louisville Metro employees and community partners who came together to support a family in need on South 26th Street.

Thank you to LMPD First Division Squad 2, Louisville Metro Codes and Regulations employees Trae McFarland, John Williams, Cornell Towns and Victor Presley, and McDonald’s store manager Sean Bauer.

They recognized a family that needed support, helped clean up their yard, provided a meal and showed how we can help our neighbors when Louisville comes together.
