Dear Beechwood Village Community,

As we plan ahead for 2027, the Beechwood Village City Council is exploring several options to enhance our annual Yard Sale event for everyone. These options include:

* Continuing with our traditional summer date.
* Moving the yard sale to an earlier or later time of year to avoid the heat.
* Hosting two separate yard sales — one in spring and one in fall.

We want to hear your opinions! You can share your thoughts by posting on this page or by attending upcoming city council meetings. Your voice is vital in helping us create the best experience for our community.

Stay tuned for updates and opportunities to participate. Thank you for your continued support!

Sincerely,
Beechwood Village City Council

🌟 Exciting News, Beechwood Village! 🌟

Due to popular demand, our City-Wide Yard Sale is making a comeback on Saturday, September 12 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.! 🎉🛍️

You may remember, we moved our summer yard sale to May this year to dodge the heat and team up with Richlawn for a bigger regional event. While that was successful, we also heard your feedback about needing more time to prepare and advertise. We listened — and now, you have plenty of notice to get ready!

Whether you're decluttering, hunting for bargains, or just looking to connect with neighbors, we encourage everyone to participate. Plus, your input helps us decide if we’ll host more of these events next year!

Mark your calendars, start gathering your items, and let’s make this fall yard sale a great one! 🏡✨

See you there!

BWV residents
Tree trimmers will be in the Village within the coming week. They will be trimming branches that hang low over the street. There may be trimming around a few street lights that have become swallowed by nearby branches, as well.

Trivia facts: the average height of an Amazon van is 9.5 feet. The average height of a WM truck is 12 feet.

Mark your calendars:
Saturday, September 12, 8am - 2pm.
🤞🏻Hoping for good weather!

We will take an informal vote at the neighborhood picnic, Saturday, October 10, where you can let us know your preference for next year:

BWV neighbors…
You may have noticed signs for yard sales next Saturday, July 11, have popped up in the Village. Due to requests from a number of residents to hold a July sale, we have let them use the signs.
We will be discussing the feasibility of a fall neighborhood yard sale at our next council mtg. If you have ideas or opinions, our next mtg is Tuesday, July 14, at 6:30.

The City Council extends its gratitude to everyone who participated in our traditional Fourth of July parade to celebrate America's Independence Day. This year was particularly special as our country marked its 250th anniversary.

If you enjoyed shooting off fireworks on your property, please remember to clean up any debris. Keeping our city tidy helps protect local wildlife and maintains the beauty of our community.

Good neighborhood turnout. My pictures don’t capture the many friends and families who participated.
