๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿ”ฅ First Responders Cook-Off Fun! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‘ฎ

What a perfect day to fire up the grill, enjoy some burgers and hot dogs, and spend time with our community! We had a great time at the First Responders Cook-Off, sharing some friendly competition with our friends Jeffersontown Fire & EMS

A big thank you to Kroger for helping make this event such a successโ€”we truly appreciate your support!

While J-Town Fire may have taken the win this time, donโ€™t worryโ€ฆ weโ€™ll be back and ready for a rematch! ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿš”

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit, grab a bite to eat, and spend time with our firefighters. We loved seeing you all out there and hope you had as much fun as we did!

๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿš“โœจ โœจ๐Ÿš“๐Ÿ’™

Recently Major Mindy Vance, along with our Sixth Division officers and members of our Special Operations Division had the honor of meeting a very special visitor! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Four-year-old David Matthew Beets traveled all the way from Owensboro to Louisville for a medical procedure at Norton Children's Hospital ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿ’™. Before heading home, David had one big requestโ€”to see some police cars in person! ๐Ÿš”๐Ÿšจ

Of course, we were happy to make that happen! ๐Ÿ™Œ

David was joined by his sister, 6-year-old Heidi, who had a special request of her ownโ€”she wanted to see our police horses! ๐Ÿด๐Ÿ’•

Moments like these remind us how meaningful the little things can be, especially during challenging times ๐Ÿ’™. Weโ€™re grateful we could bring a few smiles to David and Heidi during their visit ๐Ÿ˜„โœจ and wish David all the best as he continues to recover. ๐Ÿ’ชโค๏ธ

Thank you for stopping by to see usโ€”weโ€™re cheering you on, David! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธโ˜€๏ธ Starting the Day Strong with PAL!

This morning, kids from our Louisville Metro PAL program hit the ground running alongside several of our officers at Iroquois Park as part of the running clubโ€”and what a great way to build friendships, stay active, and connect with our community! ๐Ÿ’™

Our Police Activities League (PAL) program offers positive opportunities for youth to engage with officers in a fun, supportive environment. From fitness activities like todayโ€™s run to other programs throughout the year, thereโ€™s always something exciting happening!

๐Ÿ‘‰ If you're looking for a great program to get your kids involved in, PAL is the place to be.
