A few highlights:
🏛️ Approved zoning and development, including the areawide rezoning of the Givaudan Sense Colour facility, a revised development plan for Chick-fil-A, and amendments to the NuLu Crossing TIF district.
🏛️ Approved public safety protections related to search warrants.
🏛️ Approved grants and community investments, including funding for summer meals, Seneca Park tennis court reconstruction, local arts organizations, youth programming, and neighborhood events.

Councilwoman Tammy Hawkins (D-1) is proud to sponsor the return of Southwick & Cotter Homes Day on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Russell Lee Park, located at 3701 Southern Avenue.

Strong neighborhoods start with strong infrastructure.

Today, the Metro Council Democratic Caucus highlighted investments that are improving quality of life across Louisville, including the new Building Our Blocks neighborhood revitalization initiative, upgrades to the California Community Center, sidewalk and roadway improvements, and continued investments in streetlighting and public safety infrastructure.
