For years, I thought my yelling was the reason we were never late.

So I stopped yelling to see what would happen.

Turns out… we were still on time. 😂

The difference? Our mornings were calmer.

Sometimes we don’t realize how much of what we do as parents is driven by the fear of, “What if I don’t?”

Maybe sometimes we just need to test it. ❤️

My automatic thoughts said, “Nope. This isn’t how this works.” 😂

But I paused, and my brain offered up: There must be an explanation.

And there was.

Sometimes the pause is where connection begins. ❤
