Visitation: Sunday, April 3rd, from 2-8 at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy.
Funeral: Monday, April 4th, 11 am at St. Paul Catholic Parish, 6901 Dixie Hwy.

Greetings!
On Saturday, Oct 24, FOP Lodge 77 will be holding our annual Halloween festivities. This will include a children's party and a Member's party. Listed below are the details for each:
The children's party will begin at 11am and end at 1pm. There will be activities and treats for the kids, as well as finger food and drinks. Costumes are encouraged but not mandatory, but I'm sure your child is like mine, in that she needs little excuse to wear a costume! Adult supervision will be provided but if you wish to volunteer as a chaperone or party coordinator, please let me know and I will provide you with details. If you wish to donate candy or small party favors for the children, you may leave these items at the front desk at MJC or CCC and we will collect them.
The Members party will begin at 8pm. There will be a $5 donation taken at the door upon everyone's entrance. Beer, snacks and finger food will be provided. Everything else will be BYOB. We are also having a potluck table, so bring that dish you're always telling your coworkers you make so well! Costumes are encouraged but not mandatory. There will be costume awards and door prizes as well as a DJ. The Members party will last until we're ready to go home.
Last year's parties were great fun, as well as safe. I look forward to this year being even better. See you there!

On Saturday, September 19, FOP Lodge 77 is hosting a group yard sale to benefit our Coat-a-Kid charity. This will take place in the parking lot of our Lodge located at 3556 Taylor Blvd. Tables may be rented for $20 for the day, paid up front. You may sell anything you wish from your table. (keep it legal) Those wishing to donate items may drop them off that morning at the Lodge. We will begin at 7am, but there will be staff on hand earlier to assist in setting up. You may reserve a table by contacting President Dotson directly. Those who show up that morning will be given a table on a first come, first served basis. We will have soft drinks for sale at the event. Please come and help us support the very worthwhile charity that is Coat-a-Kid. Last year was a huge year for Coat-a-Kid fundraising and we are looking to do even better this year!

The Louisville Metro Department of Corrections and Louisville Corrections FOP Lodge #77 2nd Annual Coat-A-Kid Golf Scramble is September 11, 2015. Your day will include an incredible 18 holes of golf, lunch, drinks, snacks and raffle with over 18 teams participating. You have the opportunity for the longest drive contest and closest to the pin contest. Ladies will hit from the red tees and everyone else will hit from the regular member tees. All participants will receive a gift bag full of goodies. To conclude the event, we will present awards and announce the winners of the scramble, raffles and contests.
This fabulous event will be hosted again at the beautiful Harmony Landing Country Club located at 13201 Reading Road in Goshen, KY on Thursday September 17, 2015 (15 minutes from downtown Louisville). Cost for the event is $75.00 per person or $300.00 per team. Registration time is 7:30 a.m. Tee Time is 9:00 a.m. with a shotgun start…get there early for your gift bags.

Reminder: The Mayor's Give-A-Day community service event that Lodge 77 and LMDC are participating in is a clean up of Wyandotte Park on Saturday, April 19. Those wishing to volunteer should meet at the park on Taylor Boulevard at 0800 Saturday morning. Cleaning equipment will be provided on site. Also, our Lodge Easter party is on the same day. Immediately following the clean-up project we will be inviting all participants to attend the Easter party located down the street at Lodge 77. There will be an egg hunt and prizes for the children, as well as activities and a picture with the Easter Bunny. Children are welcome to attend both events, as Wyandotte park is a great place for them to play while we attend to business before the party. I am encouraging all interested members and guests to attend. See you there!
