Greenwood Elementary School Greenwood Elementary School is located in SW Jefferson County of KY. We have approximately 500 students ranging grades K-5.

Greenwood Elementary has been serving the Pleasure Ridge Park community of Southwest Jefferson County since the 1950's. The mission at Greenwood is to prepare students to be academically and socially ready for middle school and beyond. Our vision is that Greenwood Elementary will provide a safe, equitable learning environment, promoting high expectations and high quality instructions for all stude

nts in every classroom. Greenwood will be recognized as a model school for high levels of teaching and learning as well as a positive school culture. Greenwood students will be collaborative, innovative, global, and resilient ambassadors, positively impacting the school and community.

Only 1 week left to turn in your Color Walk pledges! We are still 7,098.02 from reaching our goal.

Any student who turns in $25 will get a shirt and be able to participate in the walk next Saturday, September 19th!

Any student who turns in $150 will be able to duck tape Ms. Billops to the flagpole and silly string her!

Any student who turns in $200 will be invited to a lock in after school filled with games, food, and prizes!

The student who turns in the most money will receive a $100 gift card to the store of their choice!

The class that raises the most money will receive a party of their choice!

Open House is tonight from 6:00-7:00! Visit the classrooms, turn in color walk pledges, purchase spirit wear or raffle tickets for the squishy basket, and stop by the bake sale table sponsored by the cheer team.
