Today, on National Food Bank Day, we’re highlighting the food pantry at Sheehan Landing, St. John Center’s supportive housing community.

For our residents, having access to food right where they live can make a meaningful difference—stretching limited budgets and making it easier to keep nutritious options on hand.

You can help us keep the pantry stocked! 💙

Consider hosting a food drive with your workplace, church, school, or community group, or donating shelf-stable pantry items directly to St. John Center.

A few cans, boxes, or bags may seem small, but when our community comes together, we can fill an entire pantry.

🎥 From Our Archives: What Does Success Look Like?

In this 2019 oral history, **Tristam “TJ” Martin—now St. John Center’s Director of Housing Services—**shares his perspective from his time as a lead housing case manager in our Permanent Supportive Housing Program.

TJ discusses what it takes to help someone move from homelessness into housing, the important role of case management, gaps in Louisville’s homeless services system, and what real success looks like for the people we serve.

Today, TJ continues this work by leading St. John Center’s housing services and helping our neighbors find and maintain stable housing.

As we celebrate 40 years of St. John Center, TJ’s journey is also part of our story—a reminder that our work has grown, our team has grown, and our commitment to walking alongside people experiencing homelessness remains strong.
