Our Cadets are staying motivated, learning and working as a team at Camp Crooked Creek. Today they were on the Repel Tower as well as Rock Climbing Wall. It was a challenge at times, but all cadets participated and completed the mission! This afternoon the cadets will be training on survival in the wild. Our Fern Creek MCJROTC Cadets are setting the Standard and Leading by Example!

Some of our MCJROTC Cadets were off to Camp Crooked Creek this morning at 1000 hours for a 5 day Leadership Camp. Cadets were given their safety brief as well as assignments by the 1stSgt and a final brief by the LtCol before wheels up. The cadets will be learning and working alongside ARMY JROTC units at the camp.

The Roll Call Foundation is looking for a few cadets who may be interested in earning community service hours by helping with the Hillview Fair. They are looking for approximately 2-4 cadets per day, but the hours are flexible and they would greatly appreciate any help they can get.

The available dates and times are:

Thursday June 4
Setup begins at 3:00 PM, with work continuing through the event.

Friday June 5
Start time around 12:00 PM
Event ends at 8:00 PM

Duties would include manning the booths, sharing information with attendees, handing out materials, and helping represent The Roll Call Foundation throughout the event.

Cadets may wears MCJROTC shirt or comfortable, suitable clothing. The meetup location will be the Hillview Police Department.

Parents are also welcome to stay and volunteer if they would like.
