The entire Bhutanese Society of Kentucky(BSK)is deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Kumar Gurung, respected brother of Suk Gurung who has been actively serving in Bhutanese Buddhist Society of Kentucky as a Secretary.
Late Gurung was born in Singhi Block Sarpang Bhutan in 1982. Lt. Gurung was left behind in Pathri Sanischare Camp when all rest of his family got resettlled in the United States. He passed away in refugee Camp but all his family lives in the United States and his rituals will be held in his brothers house at 710 Framingham Road Louisville KY 40243 , March 31st being the last day.
BSK extends its heartfelt condolences for the irreparable loss suffered by the family due to the passing of Lt.Gurung.
During this time of mourning, we pray that God grants eternal peace to the departed soul and gives Suk and his entire family the strength to endure this profound sorrow.

The entire Bhutanese Society of Kentucky(BSK)is deeply saddened by the tragic news of the passing of the respected father of Mr. Kapil Kharel who has been actively serving BSK as a treasurer since 2025.
Father Padma Lal Kharel was born in Sunkosh, Chanaute Tsherang Bhutan. Lt. Kharel moved to Jhapa Nepal Beldangi-2 G/2 in 1992 and he got resettlled in Nashville TN in August 2008, and later moved to Louisville KY in May 2022.
BSK extends its heartfelt condolences for the irreparable loss suffered by the family due to the passing of beloved father.
During this time of mourning, we pray that God grants eternal peace to the departed soul and gives Kapil and his entire family the strength to endure this profound sorrow.

The entire B.S.K. family is deeply saddened by the tragic news of the passing of the respected father of Mr. Bom Ghising, who has been actively serving the community as a volunteer with B.S.K. since 2025.
Father Krishna Bir Tamang was born in Ramechhap Nepal and later moved to Bhutan. Lt. Tamang was from Beldangi-2 extension and he got resettlled in the United States in 2011. Lately Lt. Tamang was the resident of Columbus Ohio.
B.S.K. extends its heartfelt condolences for the irreparable loss suffered by the family due to the passing of beloved father.
During this time of mourning, we pray that God grants eternal peace to the departed soul and gives Bom and his entire family the strength to endure this profound sorrow.

मौसम विधहरूले सुक्रबार रातीबाट केही दिनसम्म केन्टकी राज्य लगायत उत्तरपूर्बका राज्यहरूमा खराब मौसम हुन सक्ने, ६ ईन्च सम्म हिमपात हुनसक्ने र १/४ इन्च सम्म आईस जम्न सक्ने पूर्वानुमान गरेका छन्। विद्युत जान सक्ने भएकाले पर्याप्त खाद्यान्न जगेडा गर्न र न्यानो कपडाहरूको व्यवस्था गर्नका लागि नागरिकहरूलाई सचेत रहन सुचिकृत गरिएको छ। खानेकुराहरू खरीद गर्दा नन्-रेफ़्रीजरेटेड अथवा ड्राई खानेकुराको व्यवस्था गर्नु राम्रो हुने छ। घरमा ग्यास स्टोब र टर्चलाईटको व्यवस्था गर्नु राम्रो हुनेछ।पानीका पाईपलाइन फ्रोज हुनसक्ने सम्भावना भएकाले

Bhutanese Society of Kentucky is extremely sorry to make you learn about the demise of Suk Maya Limbu. Lt Limbu was born in Samchi Bhutan in 1960 and passed away in her resident at 9111 Fox Chase Rd Louisville KY(United States) on January 10,2026 at the age of 66. Lt. Limbu was from Beldangi 2 I/3 , originally resettleed in Huston Texas in 2011 and moved to Louisville KY in 2016.
BSK,at this time of grievance would like to extend its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, friends, and relatives, and prays for her departed soul to rest in peace in heaven.

Bhutanese Society of Kentucky is extremely sorry to make you learn about the demise of Sarojbon Parekh Lt. Parekh was a mother in-law of one of our Bhutanese sister Anu Pariyar and mother of Jaimin Parekh.
BSK,at this time of grievance would like to extend its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, friends, and relatives, and prays for his departed soul to rest in peace in heaven.
